Oltcit Escape (DEMO)

Its August of 1989. The whole Eastern Europe experiences velvet revolutions that do away with totalitarian socialist regimes and make these countries free and democratic. But in Romania things go a different way, as President Nicolae Ceausescu holds his grip on power...

Being a usual Romanian industrial plant worker, you finally get your Oltcit Club after waiting for eight years in the queue. You decide to flee Romania with your family through border with Hungary. However, the Securitate, the secret police, is after you! There is no time to stop your plan!

Goal

Playing as the Oltcit, you should avoid any obstacles on the road, flee from Securitate cars, collect 20 stars and the cross the checkpoint on the border with Hungary to win.

Controls

Use left and right arrows (or A and D keys) to control the Oltcit.

Obstacles

Slowdown

These will slow down your speed, but not cause a gameover.

• Traffic cone - slows down your car by 10%
• Road bump - slows down by 5%

Crash

These will cause a gameover, so avoid them at all costs!

• Traffic pole, police car, traffic barrier - they are spawned on the road before you.
• Securitate cars - three of them are constantly chasing you. If they catch your car, it's a gameover. Be aware that they speed up over time, so you have to use boosters constantly.

Boosters

These will increase your speed.

• Green booster - 10% increase
• Red booster - 20% increase, but this one is more rare

Billboards

These are only for decorative and authentic purposes. Five billboards randomly spawn on the pavements.

Demo? What will be in full version then?

Full version of the game will be downloadable for Windows, Mac and Linux. It will have more levels, more detailed lore, improved graphics and sounds. This demo will be updated if new improvements in graphics or sounds will come. However, it will not have more levels, as this is reserved to full game only.
